Position Summary

Headworks International is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer/Draftsman.  A background in the industrial (and municipal) wastewater treatment industry is a plus.  Must be proficient with 3D design and detailing using Solidworks.  In this position you will be part of the entire product development and process design team collaborating with sales, manufacturing, procurement and marketing to deliver an innovative, quality and profitable product.  Since the equipment is sometimes sold as a system, experience in the creation of P&ID's, piping design, instrumentation, aeration systems, mechanical mixers, blowers and pumps is preferred.  

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Design and detail wastewater treatment equipment using the information supplied by senior engineers, sales team and customer specifications.
  • Generate BOM and interface with purchasing in the procurement of designed components.
  • Prepares Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), General Arrangements (GA) and preliminary Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for incorporation into proposals and bids.
  • Assists with processes, tools and systems for project estimating that are accurate and efficient.
  • Communicates effectively and appropriately with project resources and stakeholders, as required.
  • Ensures that company procedures and design methodology is consistently applied including all required project documents filed as required.

 

Requirements

 

  • Associate Degree or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in developing 3D models, creating manufacturing drawings and generating BOM.
  • In depth knowledge of SolidWorks. Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Visio (not required but would be great to have).
  • Must be a USA citizen or have a non-restricted USA Residency

Position Summary

Responsible for managing sales and business development for Headworks Bio-Process international business.  Develop sales strategies for Headworks' MBBR/IFAS based process equipment lines in the current markets and work with the Executive Team to analyze future markets.  Drive sales growth through direct sales as well as relationships with OEM partners and independent sales representatives.

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Manage a schedule rich in direct interaction with clients and prospects
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the municipal and industrial wastewater industry
  • Keep abreast of market developments - understand the competition, regulatory drivers and business climate as it changes over time and across regions
  • Manage and own the accountability for the sales pipeline to ensure growth targets are achievable
  • Recruit and train Manufacturers' Representatives; ensure they are knowledgeable about Headworks' product offering, and understand effective sales techniques to increase sales and profitability
  • Develop relationships with key OEM partners to drive sales growth in target regions
  • Increase visibility of Headworks by participating in relevant conferences, trade-shows and other events in coordination with Sr. VP Sales and Marketing
  • Assist in preparation of corporate forecasts and marketing plans
  • Consult with the CEO and Officers regarding sales policies, product revisions and pricing changes

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering coupled with a minimum of ten years process equipment capital sales in the wastewater industry
  • Knowledge of wastewater treament processes including MBBR/IFAS, SBR, CAS, etc.
  • Experience in international sales, particularly in the industrial wastewater sector
  • Experience managing independent sales representatives and internal sales teams
  • Self-disciplined and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - foreign language skills a plus
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Team player committed to working with a team of highly motivated sales personnel

 

Requirements

 

  • Travel required 50% of the time including international travel
  • Highly computer literate
  • US Citizen or holder of unrestricted permanent residency

Job Title:  Project Manager

Position Summary

Headworks is seeking an Entry level Project Manager who will work under the supervision of a Senior Manager, assists in the planning, organization, control, integration and completion of multiple projects from shop drawing approval, manufacturing, shipment, installation to final sign-off. This position requires close coordination with engineering, procurement and manufacturing to assist in the management of a timely and cost effective project completion.

Essential Functions

 

  • Assist in the planning, organization, control, integration, execution and completion of multiple projects. This is to include, but not be limited to;
  • Preparation, review and timely completion of all project submittals
  • Preparation, monitoring and control of all project schedules and milestones
  • Review of appropriate manufacturing instructions and documentation
  • Review and approval of purchased materials and schedule O&M manual preparation and submission
  • Shop test documentation
  • Shipping
  • Completion of final shop tests and acceptance
  • Support Sr. Managers and Engineers to ensure timely completion of projects and consistent implementation of design modifications
  • Review design changes, specifications and all documentation releases
  • Consistently monitor project expenditures to remain within established guidelines
  • Provide, where necessary and in a timely manner, interim and completion project reports
  • Assist in negotiating PO Terms and Conditions with supervisor

 

Qualifications

 

  • 0-2 years of project management experience directing multiple projects
  • Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or civil engineering
  • Work well under pressure with passion for excellence and customer focused at all times
  • Ability to travel domestically (minimal travel required)
  • Highly computer literate – Excel, Word, Access, AutoCAD and Solidworks skills is a plus
  • Ability to clearly communicate, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to multitask

Job Title:  IT Desktop and Network Technician
Location:  Houston, TX

Position Summary

Provides hardware, software, and network administration and support to internal users' computer information systems and resources. Responsible for daily operations involving networks, cloud based systems, servers, operating systems, VoIP/telephone/voice systems, enterprise/non-enterprise software applications.

Please note this is a part time position with 20-30 hours per week.

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Installs, configures, administers, monitors, troubleshoots, and supports all internal user hardware including, but not limited to: workstations, laptops, mobile devices (i.e., tablets, iPads) servers, printers, network appliances, smartphone devices and VoIP/telephone/voice systems.
  • Installs, configures, administers, monitors, troubleshoots, and supports all internal user operating systems and enterprise/non-enterprise application software including, but not limited to:  Microsoft operating systems and desktop applications, email, anti-virus, backup software,hypervisor software (i.e., virtual machines), and system update services.
  • Records IT issues, including troubleshooting steps taken, documents resolutions for future reference, and promptly responds to IT issues, as assigned.
  • Provides timely and effective user support by remote or onsite assistance.  Provides training to users on all IT hardware and software.
  • Assists in the planning and support of network and computing infrastructure including the development and updating of various system documentation, user manuals and IT related policies, procedures and standards.
  • Assists in the review and evaluation of new software and hardware. Assists in maintaining inventory for all computer related hardware and software assets and licenses.
  • Monitors system performance and assists with network performance tuning at the Home Office and remote sites.
  • Assists with management of user accounts, mailboxes, user folders, permissions, login scripts, and network group policies.
  • Works with consultants to resolve complex software or network issues, as needed

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems. Information Technology or equivalent education and experience required. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in information technology including three (3) or more years involving hardware and software and end-user support required.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience with the following:

 

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Microsoft Exchange/Exchange Online/Office 365
  • Microsoft Office/Office 365 Suite Applications

Deliverables:

 

  • First 30 Days: Become familiar with Headworks Inc. existing and planned IT infrastructure. Establish contacts with current vendors and support companies. Learn the key requirements and technical aspects of Headworks IT infrastructure and systems. Gain a basic understanding of the company's systems and procedures, including but not limited to databases and sales management systems.
  • First 60 Days: Effective evaluation of the IT market in terms of suitable new products or solutions, pricing structure, strengths and weaknesses. In accordance with the analysis, create a strategy for implementing the required new or upgraded IT Infrastructure. Develop a strategy to manage in the future the new and existing infrastructure.
  • First 90 to 180 Days: Begin implementation of outlined strategies and plans. Contribute to maintain a high quality IT infrastructure to provide the employees the best possible work environment. Support the various departments with their ongoing IT needs.
