Position Summary

Headworks International Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join their dynamic organization of Companies focused on bringing water reuse to municipalities and industry worldwide. Qualified candidates must demonstrate proven experience and skill to setup and safely operate the CNC Press Brake to produce high quality products. 

 

Essential Duties

  • Setup and document tooling and safe practices for Press Brake operations
  • Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions
  • Maintain accurate parts
  • Maintain cleanliness of the machine
  • Perform in-process checks to maintain all required tolerances and quality
  • Complete all required safety procedures prior to and during operation

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machine
  • Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
  • Operation, proving programs, operating controls, setting all machine functions, deburring and inspection of parts to assure conformance
  • Able to read and understand design specifications and parts drawings
  • Organizing work area before and after parts are processed, and maintain finished parts in an organized manner with proper labeling and tagging
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Fork Life experience required

Requirements

  • Proven experience as CNC Operator
  • Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
  • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
  • A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
  • Good communication abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent: certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus
  • Strong team player
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Position Summary

Responsible for managing sales and business development for Headworks Bio-Process international business.  Develop sales strategies for Headworks' MBBR/IFAS based process equipment lines in the current markets and work with the Executive Team to analyze future markets.  Drive sales growth through direct sales as well as relationships with OEM partners and independent sales representatives.

Essential Functions

  • Manage a schedule rich in direct interaction with clients and prospects
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the municipal and industrial wastewater industry
  • Keep abreast of market developments - understand the competition, regulatory drivers and business climate as it changes over time and across regions
  • Manage and own the accountability for the sales pipeline to ensure growth targets are achievable
  • Recruit and train Manufacturers' Representatives; ensure they are knowledgeable about Headworks' product offering, and understand effective sales techniques to increase sales and profitability
  • Develop relationships with key OEM partners to drive sales growth in target regions
  • Increase visibility of Headworks by participating in relevant conferences, trade-shows and other events in coordination with Sr. VP Sales and Marketing
  • Assist in preparation of corporate forecasts and marketing plans
  • Consult with the CEO and Officers regarding sales policies, product revisions and pricing changes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering coupled with a minimum of ten years process equipment capital sales in the wastewater industry
  • Knowledge of wastewater treament processes including MBBR/IFAS, SBR, CAS, etc.
  • Experience in international sales, particularly in the industrial wastewater sector
  • Experience managing independent sales representatives and internal sales teams
  • Self-disciplined and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - foreign language skills a plus
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Team player committed to working with a team of highly motivated sales personnel

 

Requirements

  • Travel required 50% of the time including international travel
  • Highly computer literate
  • US Citizen or holder of unrestricted permanent residency

Job Title:  Skid and Piping Engineer
Location:  Houston, TX

Position Summary

Headworks is currently seeking a Skid and Piping Engineer. Must be well versed with 3D design and detailing using Solidworks. In this position you will be part of the entire product development and process design team collaborating with sales, manufacturing, procurement, and marketing to deliver an innovative, quality and profitable product. Since the equipment is sometimes sold as a system, experience in the creation of P&ID’s , piping design, instrumentation, aeration systems, mechanical mixers, blowers and pumps is preferred.

Essential Functions

  • Design and detail wastewater treatment equipment using the information supplied by senior engineers, sales team and customer specifications.
  • Generate BOM and interface with purchasing in the procurement of designed components.
  • Prepares Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), General Arrangements (GA), and preliminary Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for incorporating in proposals and bids.
  • Prepare Fabrication Drawings for piping skids and skid mounted equipment
  • Prepare Fabrication Drawings for Mechanical equipment for waste water treatment plants
  • Assists with processes, tools, and systems for project estimating that are accurate and efficient.
  • Communicates effectively and appropriately externally with the client and internally with project resources and stakeholders, as required.
  • Ensures that company procedures and design methodology is consistently applied including all required project documents filed as required.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 1 to 2 years experience in developing 3D models, creating manufacturing drawings and generating BOM.
  • In depth knowledge of SolidWorks. Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Visio.
  • Knowledge of advanced wastewater treatment and water treatment systems for biological process based industries like food processing, beverage, meat, pulp & paper, etc. is an added advantage.

Job Title:  Materials Manager

Position Summary

Responsible to manage HEADWORKS purchasing, logistics, production control and inventory control (PCIC) management functions and scope, plan and lead improvement programs for these areas.

Essential Functions

  • In conjunction with the President sets departmental strategies and priorities, sets purchasing policy and procedure, drives sourcing of alternative vendoes, recruits and selects new staf membersFunctions as a senior technical resource on QuickBooks business system, supply chain procedures and methods
  • Leads the major departmental improvement initiatives in addition to leading certain commodity and project teams
  • Indetifies and scopes sourcing and business process improvement opportunities
  • Analyzes opportunities and develops integrated strategies in cooperation with both internal HEADWORKS and external resources
  • Develops and manages project plans, directs multi-functional project teams
  • Directs, trains and professionally develops junior staff and project team members
  • Monitor results against established procurement metrics (e.g. cost savings, vendor performance, vendor compliance and user satisfaction) and leads the development and execution of corrective action with noncompliant vendors and internal operating groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a major or concentration in business administration or business related field and five to ten years of procurement, PCIC, logistrics and manufacturing operatios experience in a discrete manufacturing environment
  • Current or former Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification preferred.  Certififed Professional in Supply Management (CPSM designation) would also be an advantage
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills including the ability to use the full suite of MS Office
  • Strong business system skills including experience in the implementation and operation of ERP systems.  Experience in QuickBooks Manufacturing and Inventory or similar program is especially desirable
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities in order to direct multi-functional project teams and supervise supply chain staff
  • Strong negotiating and communication skills - both written and oral
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, strategic sourcing process, contracting, quality and PCIC
  • High level of integrity, creativity, persistence and personal drive

Job Title:  Field Service Technician
Location:  Houston, TX

Position Summary

Headworks is seeking an entry level Field Service Technician to install, repair, maintain, and adjust our equipment in the field.

Essential Functions

  • Assemble, calibrate, test and troubleshoot mechanical components and circuits, harnesses, and instruments.
  • Working independently, and while interacting with customers, install, start-up, performance test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer locations.
  • Inspect and test equipment prior to shipping to customer.
  • Train customers on theory of operation and on operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Create and maintain service records and reports using the appropriate software such as Word, Excel, etc.
  • Make product improvement recommendations.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • 0-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment required.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and industry codes and standards.
  • Ability to organize tasks and schedule work so that it is completed on time.
  • Ability to effectively perform work independently or within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required: skilled at written and oral communication, able to work constructively with customers and code enforcement officials, able to effectively explain function of equipment to customers.
  • Bilingual helpful but not required.
  • Valid U.S. passport or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of employment.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
  • Ability to operate various tools and instruments including hydraulic tools, drills, grinders gages and meters for electrical components.
  • Previous experience with Wastewater Treatment Equipment a plus.
  • Welding experience, especially on Stainless steel a plus.

 

Job Requirements

  • This position does require the ability to travel extensively, up to 95%. Overnight travel is a requirement. It also requires the ability to work holidays and weekends. International travel with passport required.
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment required.
  • Possesses and exhibit high moral and ethical standards.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must have or be able to obtain TWIC card.
